Nice country inn with a view of Wallberg, in beautiful surroundings, between Rottach-Egern and Kreuth, in the Tegernsee valley. Food and service consistently good. Ordered a table by phone last week with a reservation. Unfortunately they forgot to enter the reservation. However, we were assigned a table, but could also have missed. One star has therefore been deducted.

Food is great, corona rules are implemented very well. Staff super friendly. It was a pleasure.

Absolutely the best cuisine in the area - EVERYTHING is actually delicious! Nice, authentic and personable service included - it couldn't be better! I feel at home in the Hagn (the few snobbies who get lost there can be coped with). Recommendation! ****

Good cuisine, very friendly wait staff, super attentive service. The only downer: we wanted to sit outside, as the weather was very nice, then we were told that it was already closed outside. When we left the inn, the beer garden outside was well attended. It's a shame, but still highly recommended!

In my opinion this inn is overrated. Relied on the good reviews and was very disappointed. The covered outdoor area (plastic sheeting as a replacement for windows) was more like a party tent. Ordered drinks and got them quickly, ordered onion roast beef and shrimp kebabs ..... and both were there after less than ten minutes .....! Meat was so-so, sauce was very dark and salty rather than well-seasoned, fried potatoes were not at all crispy and lukewarm. On the skewers, the prawns were also very salty and also lukewarm, just had the feeling "it comes from the microwave" because everything went so quickly. Two years ago I had eaten there once and was actually satisfied then, this time not at all. My wife and I ate the onion roast at another inn (located on a main street in Rottach-Egern R .... r) both times were worlds apart!

Great service, always someone there for our questions ... Great Breakfast and rooms are simple, clean and well-kept ... The good cuisine and excellent service made us stop at the inn every evening of our stay. Christian Nocker and his team are just great and always have a laugh for the guest

Cozy restaurant with nice outdoor seating. House music every Wednesday. Innkeeper Christian is a bass player. Bavarian delicacies, Hopf wheat beer, Hofbräu Tegernsee, fine wine selection. View of Wallberg and the local mountain of Kreuth. Excellent service from Christine and Gabi❣

We had reserved for six people, actually outside. But now there had been a pour and therefore the tables were wet. We were then seated at a cat table in the next room. The room looked something like the dining room in a youth hostel. The air was thick and humid, the windows almost all closed. Completely without inn charm. When I asked whether we could sit outside now that the weather was better again, or whether there was another solution, I only got the brief answer “we can't do anything for the weather”. 5 minutes later a family moved outside from this room ... The food was okay, not spectacular. The staff seemed to be overwhelmed, the restaurant was very well staffed. Unfortunately we were served a bit sparse in the next room. When we left the restaurant the terrace was well occupied. We felt really messed up ...

Top landscape, wonderful traditional cuisine in the hotel at an attractive and fair price, all employees from the executive floor to the employees simply did an excellent job, thanks for that, we would love to come back. All the best wishes AG.A - employer assistance

We were here 8 days at Tegernsee 8 times! We were so enthusiastic about the menu, food and friendliness that we would have loved to come more often ... Thanks and see you next year!

Great menu, great location. We went several times to eat and drink coffee. The quality of the dishes is second to none. The friendliness of the landlords is very warm. We would have loved to stay longer. Will definitely come back soon.

The restaurant is located directly on the street, but hardly used. The menu has something for every taste. The price / performance ratio is very good and it tasted very good.

Fantastic Bavarian atmosphere, we were lucky to have an English speaking waitress who helped us with the very traditional menu. Great local beer too!
